Fall colors

Here is a painting I am doing that  I was inspired to paint from a walk in the woods around my neighborhood.  I love the fall leaves still on the trees and the shadows on the path.

Mountain Sunset

Here is one of my paintings I am finishing up.  This is a wonderful sunset looking west at the mountains toward Ramona .  The light on the mountain and the colors caught my eye as the sun was setting.

Balboa Park

What a great day to paint at Balboa Parks International cottages, one of my favorite places in San Diego.  The light was wonderful against this  cottage (Norway).

Idyllwild Fun

Last weekend was a great day to paint at lake Fulmor in Idyllwild.  What a great little escape.

Torrey Pines Plein Air

What a fun weekend painting in Jeff Yeomans plein air class at Torrey pines lagoon.  Jeff is such a great artist and teacher.   

Weekend in Idyllwild

I did a fun painting of a red cabin at Silver Pines Lodge in Idyllwild last weekend.  I wanted to catch the evening light on the cabin and the little pond in front.  Great weekend!  Idyllwild is one of my favorite places to visit, great art community.

Commission Painting

I just completed a commissioned painting of Crystal Pier in San Diego.  This painting captures the beautiful sunset and the quaint cottages.

Fun at the Beach

Wine & Canvas

My first class last Friday at Fabrison's in Little Italy was great!  We had so much fun!!!  Everyone did a terrific painting.  The class was full with a waiting list.  How awesome!  Looking forward to my next class.

Palm Springs Trip

Went to Palm Springs to paint some mid-century architecture over the weekend.  Stayed at The Chase Hotel and had a great time painting it as well.  I met so many wonderful people from around the world there, who are staying through the winter.
