What a great day in Carmel. This is my first time to paint here. I love the art galleries and the charm of this town.
This corner market caught my eye on the way to Baker Beach the day before. I like the colors of the produce and the building, along with the canopy's strong horizontal lines.
A perfect day at the beach...the waves crashing just a few feet away and the best view of the Golden Gate Bridge. It's fun painting outdoors.
This scene caught my eye with the fish shaped sign, the number 8 and the colors. With a street musician playing 10 feet away and the bustle of hundreds of people around me, it felt like a big street party. What a terrific day at Fisherman's Wharf.
Great day in San Francisco to paint the bridge. Many people out enjoying the sunshine and the view. It was so nice talking to everyone who came by to see my painting. Merry Christmas!
Such a beautiful morning at the Sandman Inn in Santa Barbara. Stopped here on our way to San Francisco for the holidays. Did this quick painting after breakfast. Loved the composition, colors, and the bright morning light against the distant mountains.
Great day painting at the cove. The color of the cottage along with the blue sky and tall palm inspired me to capture this scene.
While in the Laguna Beach area for Thanksgiving, I painted at Heisler Park and sold a couple of paintings. Great time. Great weather. What a beautiful area to paint.
